Tallarn Henchmen

Today I thought I'd post some pics of a couple Tallarn Raiders that serve as henchmen in my list.

First up, melta man.  I tried to keep both of these simple and uniform (slightly, because I like differences in my henchmen).  The base isn't finished yet in this pic, but with his massive special weapon, this man really knows how to go about henching.

Next, a plasma gunner.  Again, the base isn't finished in this pic (both are now, I'll try to update soon) but I think you can see how I went about painting these two up to be both slightly different and yet uniform for the most part.  I hope my line of thinking turned out.

An' it gawt aw orky up in dayur!

For varieties sake, I did an ork for my local game store (DeWayne's World is great!).  I'm really going to have to figure out how to link this stuff like pages with a preview.  All these pics take up the whole stinkin page.  I'll figure that out, I swear!  But now, some pics..

A further sampling before bed

And for my next examples, some work I've done for a buddy of mine in the great state of North Cackalacky.  May God have mercy on his soul(s)...

First up, a couple o' fairies, high elves, potheads of the forest: Korhil and Prince Althran.  Please keep in mind Althran is a metal mini so I had to work with some moulding faults (especially the shield bottom).  Also of note, Korhil wasn't quite finished when this pick was taken.  I'll try to get Mister Pushypants to send me a finished pic!

And the undead hottie High Queen Khalida.  Why are all these minis high, and I'm not?  Maybe I should move to Denver.

While she's not quite as tasty as GW's paint job, I'm pretty fond of my take on her.  She was a damned good time, I must say.  And fun to paint, too!

Well, I thought to introduce myself, I'd toss some of my work out there and see what you think..

First up is my superfox Plasma totin' Escher.  She's decked out as an Inquisitorial Henchman.

Her base isn't finished here, but she's ready for it.  I thought I'd tatt her up...my first attempt at such a thing in all my years of painting this stuff.  Whaddya think?
